The Pilot is available in four fun-to-drive trim levels for the 2012 model year: the LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. All trim levels are available in either 2WD or 4WD and come in stunning colors like Dark Cherry Pearl, Bali Blue, Dark Amber Metallic and Alabaster Silver.

With a combination of improvements to the Pilot's aerodynamics, powertrain and chassis, the crossover SUV achieves greater fuel economy and a sportier performance. All trims come standard with a 3.5-liter 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine and feature an automatic transmission. The 250-horsepower engine provides both performance and enhanced efficiency with Variable Cylinder Management, a technology that can deactivate up to three of the engine's six cylinders to save fuel when cruising or lightly accelerating. The Pilot also includes a Drive-By-Wire Throttle and Control System, which electronically measures powertrain data and facilitates the proper response. Additionally, the 2012 Honda Pilot is equipped with an independent MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension.

Behind the wheel of the Pilot, you'll have peace of mind knowing that you and your family are safe and secure on the road. All Pilots come with an array of precautionary technologies and safety innovations such as Honda's Advanced Compatibility Engineering, a system that redirects collision impact forces around the passenger cabin, thereby reducing the direct damage the cabin receives. The LX trim features many standard comfort and convenience amenities including: a front and rear air conditioning system with air-filtration, keyless entry, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, cruise control, powered windows and doors, tailgate locks, an AM/FM/CD audio system with 7-speakers including a subwoofer and the Radio Data System, an integrated class III towing receiver, a trip computer, heat-rejecting tinted glass, auto on/off headlights, a tailgate with lift-up glass hatch and 12 beverage holders. The EX adds even more features including: a powered driver's seat with 10-way power adjustment and lumbar support, a tri-zone automatic climate control system with humidity control and air filtration, a 6-disc CD changer, security system and XM Radio. Your Pilot EX will turn heads wherever you go with body-colored side mirrors and door handles, alloy wheels, roof rails and fog lights. The EX also features the HomeLink Remote System and much more.

Dallas-Ft. Worth Honda shoppers can also choose the top-tier 2012 Pilot EX-L. The EX-L takes on many of the features of the EX but adds: a one-touch powered moonroof, acoustic windshield glass, leather-trimmed seating and heated front seats, an automatic-dimming rearview mirror with rearview camera display and the availability of either the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with rearview or the Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System with a 9-inch screen. The addition of either the navigation or the entertainment system also upgrades your EX-L with a premium audio system that comes with 10 speakers including a subwoofer and adds a 115-volt power outlet.

The Pilot Touring 2WD or 4WD model is duly equipped with the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with rearview camera, a premium stereo system, Bluetooth capabilities, a USB Audio Interface and the Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System. The 2012 Pilot Touring also includes a helpful Multi-Information Display, corner and backup sensors, two-position memory seats, a powered tailgate, side-mirror integrated turn indicators, exclusive alloy wheels and more.
